The room at Li River Hotel Guilin was amazing! It had everything I needed, like air conditioning, a TV with satellite channels, and a cozy bed. I loved that the room had a private entrance, which made it feel more exclusive and special. The private bathroom was clean and well-maintained, providing all the necessary toiletries. The minibar in the room was a nice touch, allowing me to enjoy a cold drink at my convenience. Having a fridge in the room was very convenient for storing snacks and drinks. The shower was great, with good water pressure and temperature control. Some rooms even had a terrace, which was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view. I personally loved the balcony in the suite, it added a touch of luxury to my stay.
In my opinion, I found the coffee machine to be unnecessary, but I understand that others might appreciate having it.

The hotel's central location was perfect, as it was close to the four lakes, major attractions like the Elephant Cave, as well as good restaurants and souvenir shops. We were impressed by the modern and comfortable twin/double room at the hotel.

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV with satellite channels, fridge, coffee machine, and a private bathroom. I loved the cozy and comfortable feel they provided. Some rooms even have a terrace, which is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The suite has a balcony, offering a lovely view of the city. It's perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening.
Personally, I found the minibar in the twin/double room a bit unnecessary. But hey, some people might enjoy having drinks readily available.

I always stay at this hotel because it has everything I need - Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception, an outdoor dining area, a restaurant, an airport shuttle, a fitness centre. Plus, the staff once helped me return my forgotten jewelry. Coming back for Easter!

The rooms were clean and spacious, with a large bed and a well-maintained bathroom. the breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, including a full English breakfast. the hotel's location was excellent, close to all the tourist attractions in the area, yet quiet and peaceful once inside the room.
The higher floor rooms didn't offer a good view due to the trees along the river bank. the pool on the top floor was more like a dirty jacuzzi and the gym was poorly maintained with old equipment.

The hotel is in a perfect location, with many tourist spots and the famous Chun Ji Roast Goose restaurant just a short walk away. The hotel is situated right on the river and offers a stunning view of the beautiful pagodas. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with amenities such as a coffee machine, comfortable bathrobes, and Loccitane toiletries. The staff is attentive and helpful, providing efficient service. The breakfast served at the hotel is delicious, with a variety of options including dim sum and Guilin "mi fen" noodles.
The pool may not be very large, but this is not a major issue unless you plan on swimming extensively.

Wellness facilities such as a sauna and fitness centre are available at this hotel. I must say, the sauna was hotter than a summer day in the Sahara Desert! It was truly a steamy experience that left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Huge beds, great location with easy walking distance to major attractions, and friendly staff who are always willing to help. the rooms with balconies offer a spectacular view of the river, making it a must-have option. the breakfast spread is varied and satisfying, with options like eggs, toast, sausages, and a wide selection of Chinese dishes. the hotel also goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable, offering personalized touches like room decorations for special occasions. the new and spacious rooms, with comfortable beds and large TVs, provide a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.
The hotel's food options may not cater well to Western tastes, as the menu is limited and there is no lunch available. the free afternoon tea and snacks may not be worth the time, so it is better to skip them.
